Government organizations are subject to legislated deadlines for processing of requests, and with vacation schedules of permanent staff, workload surges or other related time pressures they have called on us to assist by processing either a specific high page-volume request until completion, or a series of requests in the short or longer term until their specific workload situation is resolved.
We have processed a wide range of requests, among them natural resources or environmental issues, aboriginal issues, third-party commercial material etc. We have dealt with appeals of access decisions to the various oversight bodies - the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, and the Information Commissioner of Canada. We hold the required security clearances for request processing, and utilize the leading processing software in standard use in the majority of government access offices.
